Patient guidelines
Appointments
- Patients are seen by appointment
- This assures that the office is open and the staff can take care of you in a timely manner
- Patients can usually be seen within 24-48 hours of calling for an appointment, often on the same day.
Prescription refills will only be done during office hours.
- This is done for your protection to verify prescriptions and properly chart medications
- Requests for refills during nights and weekends will only result in receiving enough medication until the next visit or the office reopens
- It is not the policy of this practice to refill prescriptions prescribed by other physicians.
- Know your medications
- ALL patients receive instructions about their medications
- You must know what you are taking and why.
- It only makes matters worse if there is confusion about your medicine
- Do not share your medicine with friends or relatives.
Referring physicians
- We want to maintain good communication with your physicians.
- Please let us know the names of all of your physicians so we can send them the necessary referral letters.
- If you must be hospitalized, please let us know when and where you are being admitted.
